leaving los angeles
Another travel day today. We had breakfast at the hotel and dropped the car back (remembering to fill it with fuel). Our flight to Orlando was with Delta. We arrived at check-in to find that they expected to charge us $35 for every two checked in pieces of luggage…which is not something we had planned on! So after a discussion at the special services check-in they agreed that our tickets were for two pieces each (phew). Apart from that I can’t fault Delta; they were on time and the flight didn’t seem all that bad, and the queue on this side of LAX was greatly helped by the fact that they called us forward to the top because we had children.
We’ve rented a big house with a big pool. The kids had a ball in tonight, yelling to the world like wild men!
Oh and we saw us some raccoons on the way in to the estate where we are staying, they was all running across the road and stuff like wild critters s’all!
